Meeting Hub For Readers, Writers, Poets, & Ponderers in the City.
What We Do
Kalaburagi Book Club is an open space for book lovers in the city of Kalaburagi, India. We conduct meets each month, where we invite authors, do book reviews, poetry recitals, and all kinds of literary and creative activities. It is our aim to further Kalaburagi’s status as a literary hub and to see a thriving literary culture across our city.

We are students and professionals from diverse backgrounds including medicine, engineering, science, social science, law, arts, and activism. Our programs are predominantly in English, but we remain open to books and literature in other languages such as Kannada/Urdu/Hindi etc.
We meet on the second Sunday of every month, in varying locations of the city. Presently, due to the COVID-19 situation, we have taken to meeting online via Google Meet.
